OK, here we go.

COLLEGE:

A couple of seasons ago Georgia Tech was very very good to us. They’ve been unpredictable this season and hit the road to take on Maryland, who will be wearing their super busy Maryland flag uniforms this week. The Yellow Jackets will have to contain Terps QB Shawn Petty if they hope to win. Never heard of him? Don’t worry, Maryland fans haven’t either. Petty is a linebacker that played some quarterback in high school and will get the emergency start under center this week after an unprecedented streak of season-ending injuries knocked out all four actual quarterbacks on the Maryland roster. I’ll take the RAMBLIN’ WRECK -7.5 over the Turtles.

I’m also interested in Oregon -7.5 at USC but didn’t pull the trigger because every team that has played Colorado this season has lost the following week. The Ducks destroyed the Buffs last week so it’s danger time for them.

PRO:

Everything I’ve ever known about football tells me the Texans will slaughter the Bills this Sunday.  The Bills are notoriously atrocious on the road against good teams. The Texans are a well balanced team with both a significantly better offense and significantly better defense.

The Bills are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Texans are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

This game is bound to be a blow out BUT the house is always smarter than the public, so I’ll take the BILLS +10.5 over the Texans.

Peyton Manning is Peyton Manning, except now he’s got a defense.  The Broncos’ 1-2 road record is a mild concern but the Bengals’ 1-2 home record cancels that out.  Take DENVER -3.5
