Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has hired Lindy Ruff as the 22nd head coach in franchise history and the seventh in Dallas Stars history. All nine Dallas Stars fans took to The Twitter to express their approval.

I can’t believe imma typin’ this, but Dallas is now my “West Coast Team.” When the Sabres suck., I’d love to be able to see Ruff succeed – even win a Cup (just not against us – and wouldn’t THAT matchup be fun).
I only wish the Stars held onto Derek Roy. That would’ve been priceless.

I don’t think that 5th one has anything to do with Lindy.
Dallas is now my second team… never did like them after the “in the crease” deal, but now I hope they win the cup with Lindy. He deserves it. Way to go Dallas… You made a great choice.
