  1. What absolutely killed me was someone saying — maybe this was on Twitter, I’m not sure — that it’ll be fine, the old teachers making lots of $$$ will retire and the new ones will be cheaper. I’m thinking, how is that any consolation to kids in school right NOW? I’m just appalled at what’s going on, and my dead certainty is that no matter how bad things get, the people who created this travesty will never connect the dots. It will STILL be the evil teacher unions and the lying school administrators who are making everything bad. It’s the Tea Party economics, “We can cut, cut, CUT our way to prosperity!”, writ small.
